The Design

As part of the replatforming process, our goal is to enhance the user experience and update the homepage design.

Each section is designed as 'modules'. A modular design that can be utilized in any order and in different configurations across various pages and campaigns. This adaptability allows BU to create campaigns such as Christmas and Valentine's, while also implementing customer segmentation for a personalized customer experience.

Personalization and segmentation

To create a more tailored user experience, the replatforming also incorporated personalization and segmentation for customers. Tools like 'Insider' and an in-house tool 'Strainer' were developed to better suggest products based on past items and to segment customers into groups such as lifestyle, men, and women.

This allows for better content suggestions tailored to individual customer preferences and monitisation from brands who want more exposure to specific customer group.

User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and CMS

As part of replatforming and updating the homepage design, QA testing was conducted for both UX/UI and functional testing in both the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Production (PROD) environments.

Testing was done based on the pre-defined test case. Any changes or adjustments required working closely with developers to ensure all platform both English and Thai are align.

CMS software is Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). Testing in both UAT and PROD was required to validate components' configurability and setup UI to ensure easy and efficient setup process.
